Samurai Colors

Just finished a quick color job using some of the new techniques and theories... I stayed more realistic than design oriented with the color.

Let me know what you think

This is most certainly great work. I actually don't miss the details after seeing the colour version. My favourite part of the piece is the Stitching on his side. The colours are great in the little ex's.

Thanks guys, this was a joy to work on. It was also a huge relief to finally stop banging my head against the desk and make colors work for me instead of against me.

Keep an Eye out more to come!!!

HA, I new that comment was coming from you Ryan!!! I was just waiting for it...

Comics are moving slowly at this time. This new view on Colors has changed how I look at creating my line art and how it'll effect the final work.

It's the darndest thing and I can't wait to start producing storytelling again. I know that these "exercises" and practice will help me create better work and a more cohesive story on multiple levels...

That's what I keep telling myself anyways...

That looks tight, man.
Sounds like a Jason Howard coloring tutorial would be a nice resource!
